Stoneybrook Village

Stoneybrook Village is a 55+ community consisting of 136 single family homes, Stoneybrook Lodge, Stoneybrook Assisted Living, and an undeveloped lot for condominiums or apartments which is zoned RS-12.

In 1988, a group of eight local citizens had a vision of creating a retirement community in Corvallis with a variety of housing options for seniors. Their ten-year effort culminated with the creation of Stoneybrook Village in southwest Corvallis. Groundbreaking for the first phase occurred on July 22, 1998 – the Lodge, 45 single-family homes, five cottages and the clubhouse and pool. The remaining homes were constructed between 2004 and 2007.

Stoneybrook Lodge which opened in August 1999 is a senior independent living lodge with 115 apartments. It was followed in May 2002 by Stoneybrook Assisted Living which has 86 apartments and provides 24/7 care for residents.

The community is governed by Stoneybrook Village Owners Association. Facilities shared by all three entities are the clubhouse, the pool and spa, a community garden, and the ponds along Stoneybrook Street at the entrance from Country Club Drive. The five-member Board along with various owner-led committees manage different aspects of community life. As examples, the Activities Committee organizes events for the community creating an opportunity for all residents to socialize and the Preparedness Committee works to make the community more disaster resilient.
